KIYO has been working in Busan since 2016. 

Her practice explores abstract objects that convey memory and emotion, alongside functional ceramics that reflect the quiet beauty of everyday use. 

She approaches clay with the belief that “ceramics are like classical music composed in simplicity.” Without adhering to particular themes or messages, she shapes works that embody natural, effortless beauty— vessels that feel as familiar and essential as the moments they accompany.
